The 8 Week Ableton Music Production Course offers more detail on all the material from the 4 Week Fast Track Music Production Course Part 1 and Part 2, and focuses on how to write songs as well as use software.  It includes more advanced production techniques, and will teach you how to compose different parts for your songs. You’ll also get class time to work on a remix and song of your own.  

The course will quickly show you how to use Ableton’s features and capabilities and then delve into the specifics of making your own songs and remixing other songs. Audio editing and sample manipulation is just the beginning. You’ll not only learn how to use drum samplers and synths but also how program drum patterns, basslines and lead synth parts.  Mixdown and mastering techniques along with other weekly tech tips and production tricks will help you to complete polished productions.

All classes are hands-on and students are allocated class time to develop skills with instructor support.  By the end of the course students will have mastered the essential features of Ableton Live, have a solid understanding of the music production process and be able to produce their own music using software, hardware, audio and midi.
